It seems as an overall theme that traditional Orthodox religions across the board are loosing credibility among people all over the world who are seeking more free and less oppressive lifestyles. In this instance I think the Talmud has a significantly stronger interpretation of how men should regard woman and puts the responsibility rightfully on men who are naturally going have feelings of desire. It goes to show that while achieving the same goal of implementing a value in this case being modesty there are plenty of different interpretations people can make and different ideologies people use to justify the way people shall act. Its a shame to think these differences can sometimes tear us apart from each other.
