This article makes the Pope look like a pop icon rather than a religious leader. But the same can also be said about the religion to the pope.

I find it interesting how this pope is referred to as a radical pope and is often criticized by members of the church when all he is doing is trying to follow the teachings of Christ. Are they calling him radical because he's trying to root out corruption? Because he's declared that he is no position to judge people? If this is what Catholicism calls "radical" then I'm all for radicalization.
